In partnership with ENERLAB Canada we have developed an HFO Spray Foam that can withstand the harshest of weather in the Great White North. One of the current issues facing Canadian contractors is the late adoption of HFO blowing agent by certain manufacturers which has lead to their clients becoming the test subjects for inferior products that will fail on cold substrates. Polysource was an early adopter of HFO technology and our Enerthane Eco is available in both Regular Grade and Winter Grade formulas and has been tested in a variety of conditions over a number of years.

Do you have to be certified to spray foam?

In Canada, more often then not you have to be certified to spray foam. Any residential or commercial job, or any space that’s occupied by a human for an extended period of time requires certified foam. Depending on your local building code as well they may or may not require certain types of outbuildings to have certified foam. Technically anyone can buy non certified spray foam in Canada for use with non certified applications. An example of a non certified application would be spraying the underside of a skid. It is strongly recommended that regardless of the application you take a training course to better understand the intricacy’s of spray foam.
